Alyssa D’Agostino, 16, already knows what field she wants to go into after college: journalism.

The junior at St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge is on the school’s yearbook, newsletter, podcast and an anchor on the school’s broadcast station.  D’Agostino is determined to get into the journalism field.  She joined the Louisiana Scholastic Press Association Summer Institute to help her clarify what she wants to do.

She jokingly said that she wanted to be Barbara Walters when she grew up.  On a more serious note, she has said that she would want to host her own talk show.  Another dream of hers is to interview football players on FOX or ESPN.
